Practice daily gratitude. There has been several studies that say focusing on what we are grateful for tricks are brain to see the good versus focusing on the negative parts of life.
Meditation is a key focus in several countries, a founding practice of routine. Take some deep breaths and find that “happy place” this will not only promote a calm mind but a happy mind.
Get outside. Put your feet on the ground and take in the beauty of the sights, sounds and feel. Spend as much time in nature – the more energy we spend there, is replensihed by the sun and Earth. Get outside.

Practice good sleeping habits. Set a sleep routine and STICK TO IT. Sleep is a major component in our daily mindset. If we are tired, groggy we tend to be GROUCHY, NEGATIVE. To avoid that stick to your routine and try your best to aim for that 7-9 hour timeframe of quality sleep.
Spend time with loved ones. As humans we desire companionship – friends, family, spouses, etc. Fill your cup daily with this interaction can boost your mood and happiness meter.
Exercise. A good exercise routine can not only benefit your physical self but it does even more for your mind. Releasing those endorphins is like a happy concoction that your brain craves and desire DAILY – move your body daily. Small or big just get moving.

Happiness is a mindset – these simple yet effective habits that you can incorporate will be life changing and make you feel happier in the life you have been given.
