There are a lot of things that end up in your car – sneakers for walks at work, coffee cups from the morning commute, water bottles from your hot yoga three weeks ago. BUT none of those things need to be there, right!

Here are some things you NEED in your car at all times!

I love to have a car emergency kit – I am not talking roadside emergency kit, although you should have one of those so I guess as that on the list too. I am talking hair ties, bobby pins, deodorant, Band-Aids, tide to-go pen, gum, toothbrush and toothpaste, extra pair of socks and underwear – you need a small travel bag for your backseat filled with those must have items when you least expect them. If you prepare you will never have to worry about it again.

Next up, you need a simple trash can. I AM TALKING TO MY FRIENDS WHOS FRONT SEAT FLOOR IS FILLED WITH TRASH. I love you, but I don’t want to put my feet on your leftover Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme. You can find a ton of cute ones here.

I love a good organization system – front seat, back seat, trunk and everything in between. Here is a good multi-set system that I have loved for my car.

Last but certainly no least – you need this. Get your phone a safety seat – no really. Buy the phone mount. Need to play music. Need to see your map. Need to call you mom. Get the phone mount, you wont regret it.
