Welcome back!

Lets jump right in.

With new readers I figured it was right to kick it off with a “Getting to Know Me” post.

For those who don’t know my name is Brook, the author behind Life with Brook Ashlee. I was born and raised in small town USA – with big dreams in my back pocket. I grew up enjoying the outdoors, academics, spending time with friends and family and traveling to as far as I could imagine. My story is nothing special, like others who grew up in a small town. You knew everyone and they knew you, you had big dreams of leaving the small town you grew up in and never looking back – and like theirs that was my dream too.

Today I fully embrace that small town life. I find comfort in the familiar, spending my days with my husband, Morgan – who is my high school sweetheart. We were introduced by our moms when we were 15 & 16 and the rest is history.

We enjoy all things that Montana has to offer – hunting, snow sports, boating, fishing, hiking and just soaking up the peace living under the Big Sky. We are surrounded by wonderful family and friends that we love to spend as much time as possible with. Our fur babies – Willow & Piper give us so much joy and laughter each day.

One of our favorite titles is Auntie and Uncle to three amazing kiddos that we love like our own.

Life has blessed us in many ways – and I will never ever take that for granted. We bought our first home a little over a year ago and have been living the American Dream ever since.

Now that I have told you a snippet of my 26 years on this Earth, what do we have in common?
